GSX Passenger boarding error
« on: May 23, 2023, 07:55:21 pm »
CRJ700 with all the updates in place landing at CYVR. Asked for Gate 7A and there was an aircraft there but requested the override and then followed the follow me car to the gate. Engines off requested deboarding. All the passengers are descending from heaven above and the line starts from the right side of the aircraft and ends somewhere under the fuselage. LOG file attached.

You haven't attached any log, you attached the .ini file that enables logging, which is not helpful at all.

Looking at your screenshot, the passengers being in the air is not really the problem, and might be a result of the other more serious problems. I see what looks like two set of ground vehicles, as if GSX couldn't remove the default vehicles when the parking was selected, which is something it normally always do but, if if didn't, it might indicate some scenery conflict, like a problem with parking positions, or the wrong GSX profile loaded, or a combination of both.

Scenery conflicts are easily noticed before flight by looking at the world map and see if you have any overlapped parking spots. If yes, the most common cause of this, is having forgotten to disable the GSX Jetway replacement file after installing a new scenery, which is something you should always do, since those files are only supposed to be used with default airports.
