How to request a follow-me car without pushback?

How can I request a follow-me car without doing a pushback?
There are many parking spots where a pushback does not make sense but still I would like to request a follow-me car. Is that possible?

I'm not sure what do you mean with that.

The availability to ask for a Follow Me is not related in any way to having asked for a Pushback or not, the only requirement is that you must be outside a parking spot to call it, no matter how you exited it, be it with Pushback, or Reversers, or any other way. But you still need to be outside the parking spot radius.

Once you are outside a parking, you can select a new destination, be it a runway or another gate, and a Follow Me will always be offered.
