Another F18 performance data point

Sludge,

Not sure if this is a big help ... on take off from MCAS Beaufort (KNBC), rwy 23 (12,000') at the departure end, the F-18 is 275 KIAS, 10 degree climb. Mil power take off.

Good point ... two full external drop tanks. Nothing else external. Assume full internal fuel. (saw them in the hot refueling pits for 10 min ... that equals a full bag)

Thanks for the numbers, will try them out and see what I come up with.  Cant promise much, since Im pretty close to the limit of my tweaking abilities w/the Hornet, but will get them a try.

Actually, now that Im back, will put those numbers thru a flight test with the Sludge.
