F/A-18 Aileron Bug ?
« on: January 19, 2008, 08:05:36 pm »
Just installed the expansion pack.  Every 5 to 10 seconds the F/A -8 put the ailerons nose down.  Pulling back on the stick corrects the action.  Give it another few seconds and it happens again.  Anyone have experience with type of action.  Rather annoying on approach or low to the ground flight….put me in the ocean on one carrier approach.

Thanks

Have you checked to make sure that your control stick is calibrated right (not spiking)?

Did indeed.  Found the final fix to be a complete uninstall and reinstall of FSX then SP1 then Acceleration (in that order).  Works great.  Thanks for the response microbrewst.  Also found your discussion on carrier landing very helpful.  Thanks again.
