Did SU12 bring us any closer to Multiple Jetways
« on: March 26, 2023, 05:12:06 am »
Hi Umberto,

Just wondering if the changes in SU12 might have opened the door to having multiple jetways for a single parking position like we did with SODE in P3D? Its one of those things I really miss from P3D....

Cheers

As far as I know, SU12 did not change anything in regards of how jetways are created or behaving. The change was that some data about the jetways is now exposed through the navdata API that has been introduced with SU10.
So they just provide more data to applications if they request it, functionally the Jetways still have all the issues and I didn't see MS acknowledging any kind of development on multiple jetways so far.

Fair enough.

It would be great to see double jetways in MSFS like we had in P3D with SODE but I guess its an Asobo thing that would need to be added.
