How to disable passenger walking sound (jetway)

Good evening,

I am wondering if there is a way to disable the sound of passengers walking in the jetway?  Whether it be a file, etc.  I know it will likely reactivate when updating, but I don't mind disabling it.

sound file is located here:  FSDT Addon Manager\couatl\GSX\sounds

Jetway_Boarding.wav

you can edit this file to reduce volume to 0

Excellent, this is helpful!  How do you edit the .wav to 0?

I use the freeware Audacity program.  However, you can also try this simple thing (dont know if it will work).  Just make blank file, like open notepad, save it, then rename it to Jetway_Boarding.wav and place into the directory.  Caution, please backup the original before you try this.
