Passengers have their heads "above" the jetway
« on: March 05, 2023, 03:23:51 pm »
Hi

Is there any setting to adjust this ? It's like the jetway is too small, or the passneger are walking above jetway floor....

(for example, in LPPT from MK with CRJ)

Thanks

As far as I have understood, there will be an edit option for the height of the jetway floor.

This has been just discussed yesterday on the following post, which indicates which page of the manual explain this issue, and how to fix it:

Your issue is caused by the airport profile not knowing the jetway root floor height, which is not a parameter ever exposed anywhere in the scenery or is the SDK, so it MUST be manually set. The part of the manual which clearly explain both the issue and how to fix it, is at Page 71, the chapter named "Custom Jetway Floor heights"

Thanks Umberto. I have used the parameter and, yes, it helps... but just to reduce the problem and make it less visible. Now passengers have their feet below jetway floor and their head above jetway ceiling.... Is that possible that the jetway is too "small" ? LPPT by MK.

Thanks

Sure, that's the problem. That seems to be a constant of that developer. Some user reported a similar issue on their LIRF scenery, and it turned out the jetway internal height is about 1.5 meters, which surely cannot be.
