QoL for profilers - copy vehicle positions
« on: February 16, 2023, 03:23:24 pm »
Hi Umberto,

may I make a suggestion which would improve / ease the work of profile builders.

There should be an option to 'copy' all vehicle positions (tug, stairs, marshaller, baggage trucks, etc.) from one parking position to another (or several others) - so that the position of the vehicles is the same in relation to the stop position of the aircraft as for the original position.

Is this explained understandable?

Best wishes

Sounds cool, but what do you do about the different sizes of parking positions?  What about airports with some parking positions straight into the terminal and some that are angled and some that are straight in and then angle?

It's really for positions on mid or large sized airports, with big rows of positions with the same geometry and size. Have that here and there. Then you can use it as an option.

Even if one position doesn't match exactly the one next to it, you still could copy the vehicle positions and just have to make minor adjustments at the end.
