FSX almost hidden Jetways
« on: January 31, 2023, 04:05:03 am »
Loaded Technobrain RJTT Tokyo airport with FSX sim with GSX file supposed to load jetways as expected but sunken deep on ground almost hidden. I reset Couatl and jetways resurrected (lol) reloaded as intended.
Reporting this to find a solution or ideas.

I don't think they ever figured out why it was doing this since they couldn't replicate it.

Hello, my dear friend Captain Kevin and glad you are here again. Regarding on the sunken jetways I think it can be figured out by looking at the Log.
Now, Loaded RJTT again and after resetting Couatl I saved log number 2. Let's see if now Umberto can find an idea for me to give a try. FSDT Live Update is up to date.

Wishful thinking, they haven't been able to do so for close to six months.

It is either Haneda or Kansai airport that is slowly sinking into Tokyo Bay. If  it is Haneda (RJTT) then the scenery realism in the simulator is truly stunning.

Kansai is in Osaka.

Kansai is RJBB and Osaka is RJOO. Osaka City is RJOY and Haneda is RJTT. My question is about Haneda RJTT with sunken jetways.

It appears GSX jetways works fine only for MSFS, P3Dv4 and P3Dv5, "maybe".
FSX will need to use the non GSX jetways but original from airport scenery Developers.
Probably I will have to remove the whole GSX ground services from FSX, P3D and MSFS until GSX and GSX Pro becomes a full working artwork.

Sorry Patricio  but they are numerous, FSDT's own, Justsim, Aerosoft/Simwings.

These were all perfect prior to the August 2022 Pro update.

It mostly works for me in P3Dv5. I do wonder if the remaining instances are artifacts of adjusting the airport elevation to solve the problem before. Given the low number of airports I fly into, I think it will be resolved soon if the hypothesis is correct.

Cheers!

In which case removing or re-applying the GSX elevation should fix the problem, it does not.

I flew into FSDTs very own PHNL with their Very own GSX config, with their very own jetways, so IT'S NOT MY FAULT! no excuses, Jetways were still fubar until Coutl Restart..
