Keep in mind that in the real world, you wouldn't typically de-fuel the aircraft since that causes a lot of kerfuffles. First of all, that fuel can't be put back in the fuel farm as that fuel would be considered contaminated. Secondly, they would have to find an empty fuel truck to load the fuel into, and that takes a fuel truck out of service until another aircraft from that carrier arrives and needs to be refueled, in which case it would be loaded onto that aircraft. Overall, it becomes a logistical nightmare for the ground handling and/or fuel company, and they would have some not so nice things to say. Additionally, such an action could cause a significant delay for the flight.
