de-ice ramp

is it possible to taxi from my spawning stand, to de-ice ramp and then proceed to get de-icing treatment there? i have heard it is not, but i am not sure.

Creating de-icing pads as a normal stand, creating a flow for de-icing into GSX, defining these special-defined stands as de-icing pads and making it work like on-stand-deicing but without the checks of engines-running.

That's exactly what they will be: additional parking spots not contained in the airport .BGL, that will allow only one kind of GSX service: De-icing, without requiring the engines to be shut off.
