Dual jetways not appearing
« on: December 28, 2022, 06:15:45 pm »
On dual jetway gates, one of the jetways does not appear visually or through GSX menu even though it is configured. Is there a fix for this please? GSX is fully updated. I have attached screenshots to show what I mean

First of all, are you using the Aerosoft SODE jetways that come as an option.

You could easily use the SODE jetways that Aerosoft provides as an option if you wish. I have no idea why the other jetway wouldn't show up, that's the first time I've seen anything like that.

Quite possibly they are sunk below the ground or floating way in the sky.

If both jetways are made with GSX, it's not possible they would have different altitudes at the same gate. They should either be both sunk/floating, or they should both be correct.

Oh I'll grab a snapshot and show that they can indeed be at different elevations !

In fact as posted HERE

That's precisely why I said "at the same gate", which is not what is happening in your screenshot.

ok I'll try and grab a better image but some of those gates depicted are indeed dual entries, difficult with the elevation difference.

Aerosoft/Simwings LIMC in P3Dv5 CTRL-J jetways disabled and no SODE alternate installed. GSX2 configuration.

Gate 503 configured with two Aerotech Jetways on initial load only one at ground level the others are floating.

On applying the elevation fix via GSx Customization the second jetway is brought to ground level.

The elevation entry is logged in the .ini file.

Upon reloading the sim the jetways will again be split with several floating.
