PMDG BBJ2 Chocks cannot be detected
« on: December 04, 2022, 11:16:16 am »
Hello guys, I just met the problem that when I parked in position and engine shut down, I set the chocks on my aircraft's cdu and then I released the parking brake, it notified me that "you need to set the parking brakes to request ground service". I wonder if there is any solution for this problem...

You haven't said which airplane you use.

Allowing to use chocks instead of parking brakes is something that must be explicitly supported in the airplane GSX internal configuration, since chocks are not a standard system, each airplane has a different custom variable for it, and so it will only work with those that are internally supported.

Thought the title of the post made it obvious, PMDG BBJ2 from the sound of it.
