Sound issue since installing GSX for MSFS

Hi

I'd installed GSX for MSFS last weekend and noticed that the main sound within MSFS kept dipping down as soon as I started using GSX from the toolbar within MSFS. I then opened up the mixer from the windows toolbar and saw that the MSFS volume channel bar kept going down and then up briefly before going back down again. I've tried changing audio devices within the GSX menu but it still happens.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

GSX surely doesn't change or touch the sound of other application. However, Windows itself might, have a look at this thread on Avsim:
