If you haven't already ask the same question on that forum Tim or someone else might have an answer for you.  In the case it is a REX issue.  :)  Oh yeah great specs by the way :)

There's a bugged REX installer out there, that remove every other module in the DLL.XML so, it disables our software (and not just ours, but everything else you had in that file).

I think this should have been fixed in current version of their installer. In any case, if you run any of our sceneries installer again, it will fix the DLL.XML file back.

You know what I have been having problems too.  It seems like every now and then I get a bgll error from the FSDream sceneries.  End up having to install again.  Which is manageable if I only had one.  But damn I have them all except the overseas airport.  :-\

Fsdreamteam not working?
« Reply #5 on: February 26, 2010, 01:17:07 am »
I just bought a new laptow with Win7, Core i7, nvudua graphic card, 500g hard drive and 6g DD3 memory.  FSX works well, but none of my FS Dream sceneries or Cloud 9 sceneries are work.  When FSX is running and I go KFLL, the first time eveything was there, but tje next time all the building were missing.  The jeyways are still there.  Its like I haven't paid for it and its running in temp style.  I double click on the FSDream Team KFLL Registry Editor and it installed. But I still do not see any buildings. Im also running FSX Accerations.  Its working well...  Could anyone help me with this problem.
By the way, I found out with any other scenery issues, just drop the scenery files into you add on scenery and texture files and move the add on scenery to #1 and it works well.  Thanks

Your problem (like the one before) doesn't have anything to do with REX. There are a lot of threads about missing buildings, with several proposed solutions, just look in the relevant forum sections.

This thread was about a known problem in REX installation that disables every other module in the DLL.XML file so, it's best not divert into something that doesn't have anything to do with it, because it can become very confusing.

I've installed all airports again, but I've the same problem, distance I can't see the airport buildings, I can see only the fingers, while when I arrive near them they appear.
I noticed if i start FSX first, I load a flight and then I start rex everything is seen perfectly.
Is there another solution for my problem.
Thank you

I believe that anyone re-downloading REX at this time would find that it is now the "Full" REX 2.0 installer, with all current patches, including the one that fixes the known issue of deleting the FSX XML.
