For some airports custom profiles do not work.
« on: November 03, 2022, 03:21:11 pm »
As an example, LIPZ by BMW from the MS marketplace. I have the NAV option enabled in GSX settings, but all GSX vehicles are at default positions, not according the custom profile INI.

When I edit a parking spot a new one gets added at the end of the list in the profile INI, like this:

[parking 326] - (is already in the list)

[none 326] - (the new one)

Is this something with this specific scenery? It also seem to happen with LDSP by Orbx from the MS marketplace.

It seems the profile you are using was made before a GSX update which started to correctly identify parking names with no names and a number as separate from parking names with a name and a number, before the update, both were recognized as parking, causing conflicts when editing a scenery that had both kinds.

Now GSX recognizes the two cases as different, which is why if you edit it creates the "none" section, so that profile must be fixed to change all parking spots which have the "Parking" but were in fact a "None", to have their section named [None xxxx].

But only those that don't have a name, because just changing all "Parking" to "None", might cause problems in case the same scenery has parking spots with the same number *and* a "Parking" name, only the ones with a "None" as the parking name should be changed.

Thanks a lot Umberto! That was an easy fix.
