Crew & Passengers In The Air
« on: October 17, 2022, 09:05:31 pm »
Hi,

As the title indicates and the attachment shows, crew & passengers are in the air. This is at FlyTampa YSSY with the PMDG 737.

Any help to sort this out would be appreciated.

That feature shouldn't normally used, unless there's a clear problem with the scenery and, it seems there's some kind of bug in the SDK that results in the GROUND ALTITUDE variable (which that function relies on ) not always returning the correct value.

Do any of these:

- Set the ground elevation manually to the correct value

- Edit the scenery .INI to remove the elevation = xxx line and Restart GSX, so it will default to the altitude reported by the scenery itself.

- Just remove the .INI file, if it doesn't contain anything substantial you want to keep.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I don't know where to find that .ini file that you recommend eliminating.

could you help me and let me know where I find it?

Quoting from Page 47 of the manual:

Quote
Airport customization files are saved in the following folder:

%APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX\MSFS

Each file will be named as its ICAO code, with an .INI extension
