Please fix simbrief time / date calculation
« on: October 07, 2022, 01:51:43 am »
When a flight plan is generated for STD 00:05 on the 6th and you start your game from C&D at 23:30 on the 5th GSX throws a "You're too late for your scheduled departure, try another time..." error...

Please fix this, thank you.

We are aware of it and confirmed multiple times it will be looked at.

I am not a big fan of this "feature"
I fly whatever time that my mood suits me.
After being bit by this "feature" a few times, my workaround is to always set simbrief to a 23:59 departure.

I would also like to have the option to ignore/override the SimBrief time

I agree, this entire concept needs to be an option.  Load whatever data is in the Simbrief regardless of the time.

Editing the Simbrief to be hours in the future just to accommodate this actually can introduce error to your flight plan because it pulls future weather and wind data that is not present in the sim.

The problem discussed here, which was GSX not correctly handling times crossing the midnight, has been fixed weeks ago, so no those workarounds discussed here are no longer valid.
