Thank you for deleting my post Umberto ! Things don’t get fixed by hiding and or ignoring them

I don't know which post you are referring to: there were two identical threads about this, and to make the forum more readable for everybody, they have been merged, so if you had a link to your previous post, it has changed.

Can confirm here also that pushback is broken in VR (it can be requested but when selecting pushback direction nothing further happens). Please fix asap.

Even with the file I posted here, which another user confirmed "has fixed the problems in VR" ?

With the new file I just took off in Singapore without any issues. The menu is working again. Pushback is working again. Will see what happens when I arrive in Bangkok.

Arrived in Bangkok. I could request a gate an a follow me car with success. At the gate for some reason The menu stucked in loading . GSX started deboarding without a command by myself without deploying jetway (but this is because of 3rd party airport I guess.

The new file works for me. BUT: I dont like it if i have to look for it first in a forum... You need a adequate installer for updates! We all payed a lot of money for GSX pro, but we have to update files at three different locations (Universal Installer, Offline Updates and Forum...)  >:( >:( >:(

Hello everyone, same issue for me in VR. Pushback does not work. I cannot select a parking position from VR after landing. Basically the menu under VR is not usable. Cannot close it.

Please have a look and fix it as it is really frustrating not be able to use it. It was working fine before the latest release even under SU10 Beta. But now needs to switch back to 2D to selection options.

Thank you
Christophe

The update file is already included:

- In the Live Update

- In the Offline Installer

- In the forum

I JUST wanted a BIT a feedback before placing it in the Live Update, but after some users confirmed it works, it's now official. What if the file had problems ? Would have you complained about putting online without testing then ?

I assure you it's even more frustrating reading a user the updated files works, another one saying it doesn't. How do you even begin to "fix" something with such conflicting reports ? Are you SURE you have the updated file ?

I run the updater everyday and before flying, and the flight I did this afternoon was still facing the same issue. you mentionned the offline install package that I'll try to see if there is any difference with online updater.

No, i think it would be OK for me and the most users when we have an update every day with a functional installer/updater... especially in the first weeks of a new software...

I'm not following you. You said you shouldn't come on the forum to download a fix, I replied the very same fix is already included in all installers after a VERY SHORT testing times, what is really the issue then ?

I updatet with Universal Installer and offline Installer this morning (germany) and has the VR errors. The Offline Installer was from 09.23.22. So i search and find the fix in this forum. The new offline installer is just two hours old. The problem is that your customers have to update in two or three instances, and never know exactly if they have the neweset version or not....

My post saying to use either the Live Update or the Offline installer was later than that.

The VR fix was already in when I said it would. The offline installer has been further updated to fix other problems related to FSX/P3D ONLY. We never stop working, not even on week-ends, thank you very much...

No, they don't.

First, it's not "two or three", at most is two, unless you were trying to say it was "wrong" for me to ask some users to TEST the file on forum so, what exactly are you suggesting then, release with no testing ?

And, as explained so many times, you are supposed to always update in two places but, as the Sticky thread about the offline installer clearly says, you are only supposed to use the Offline installer in case your local node is not updated, which can be noticed if files other than the ones indicated in the Sticky thread are being downloaded over and over, otherwise the Live Update is just fine, as it's supposed to.

However, I think the vast majority of nodes have the latest files, because we are not releasing thousands of files at a time as with the release day, so the Offline installer is not probably required anymore, but since we cannot possibly know about each and every individual node, what's the problem of still keeping the Offline installer for a little while, considering it has been made very clear how to know if you need it or not ?
