« on: September 22, 2022, 01:33:26 am »
Hi I would like to know if GSX Pro for MSFS works with sim update 10 or if an update is planned very soon for it?

After updating SU10 I have got "Couatl engine hasn't started".
Before SU10 never had this issue!  >:(

GSX surely works with SU10, that's what we are all been using in months. Are you able to star the program manually from its Desktop icon ? If you are, check here:

After updating SU10 I have got "Couatl engine hasn't started".

Had this problem too and fixed it by unlinking and re-linking using the FSDT Installer. Be careful not to press twice and un-install GSX.

It seems like SU10 deleted my exe.xml file.

What do you mean exactly by unlinking FSDT Installer?
FSDT Installer is just an executable (here my path: "J:\Addon Manager\Couatl_Updater.exe" /SILENT /INSTALLMODE=TRUE

Yes, manually I can start GSX. I tried some workarounds mentioned in your link (like exe.xml encoding="UTF-8 but did not help at the end)
So fact is, after SU10 GSX does not start automatically.
Even tried with the addon-linker option to start Couatl64_MSFS.exe, also no success.

I'll repost the link again:

Do you have other add-ons that starts from the EXE.XML ? Do they work ?
