Incorrect ICAO code B737-800
« on: September 09, 2022, 10:30:16 am »
Hi, I noticed that GSX Pro did not connect with Simbrief (message: Simbrief aircraft B738 doesn't match MSFS aircraft B737) and found that the reason is pretty simple.

The ICAO code of the Boeing 737-800 is B738 but GSX Pro doesn't like it, it prefers B737 (but that's wrong).

I've seen on the PMDG aircraft.cfg that they've put the wrong ICAO code for the 737-800. It is labeled as B737 which is of course wrong as you stated. As I understand GSX is reading the ICAO code on your aircraft simbrief profile and the one contained on the files of the aircraft you're using. If both aren't matching, it will have issues.

A solution is either change on the PMDG files the wrong ICAO or change the one in your aircraft simbrief profile. It should work after that as intended
