New airplane profile - Jetway attaching problem
« on: September 02, 2022, 11:25:01 am »
For a new plane (configuration not yet available in the GSX database) I created - using the 3D-editor - a new configuration profile (see attachment). But unfortunately the standard jetway at MSFS EDDF gate A20 does not connect properly. It always attaches to the cockpit instead of to the preferred exit 2. Using other planes like the FENIX A320 there is no such a problem. Any solution to that or did I miss something?

GSX uses the default jetway animation system, just with models changed, but it doesn't control the jetway movement. The default system doesn't know anything about the custom GSX profile, so it will continue to work (or not), depending on the airplane own [exits] section of the flight_model.cfg file-
