russian ground service in Ukraine
« on: August 29, 2022, 08:34:31 am »
Hello FSDT.

I am from Ukraine and see such situation when in all airports in Ukraine is avaiable only russian ground service companies: Aeroflot, Rusaero and Transaero (additionally transaero stop it's activity in 2015) :-[. As I understood localization of territory is incorrect and cames to new GSX since fsx long long time ago.

For our virtual community is unpropriate to have such things, especially in this days. I see a lot of claims from our community users who bought your product. :o

I kindly ask you to make modification in to our region, if will be needed additional info about local ground service companies, we will be happy to assist you with all necessary information and pictures.

Thanks for understanding.

Hi all,
The same for me. We don't want to see any russian companies and logos in the ukrainian airports.
Please give an advise how to remove that in Ukraine.
Thank you.

We already have a user from Ukraine contacting support about this, and I asked it he could provide with pointers to some Ukrainian ground handlers or catering operators, possibly with some indications where they operate, but we never got a reply.

Hi Umberto

That was my request and I sent you reply by email.  I think we had communication problem because I received "mail delivery fail" after my reply to you (see screens)

Sorry that I doubled the same at forum.

BTW, cattering and ground handling companies may be edited by user.
But jetway logos with "sberbank" and "rusaero" is really annoying, maybe better use logoless glass jetways? But looks like thats impossible from the user's side.

Hey. I'm also sent an email related to the same topic;)
In Lviv (UKLL) for stairs, they use the Airport Logo instead of an exact service provider

I remember once in Boryspil there was Swissport. I have added UKBB, UKOO and UKLL codes in the rules_handling.cfg file under Swissport and I am now served by Swissport. I understand that this is not relevant, but I don’t see aeroflot on my native land

It is necessary to check Odessa and Lvov. In Borispol, I switched the jetways to off and they were restored by default. Without logos
