I have set both on meesage display to the maximum which displays msfs load and cargo but the pèrogression appears when it wants. whether it goes with the pointer to gsx or does whatever other thing, it only appears sometimes, how does it work?

It doesn't appear "when it wants", it appears or not depending if you have the toolbar Icon Active or Inactive, see the explanation at Pages 66-67 of the GSX Manual, which explain in detail how the menu and the tooltips work.

ok clear, in practice the gsx icon must be left active and from time to time the progress status will appear if I understand correctly.

Yes, due to the way the HTML/Javascript framework works (it kills your running code as soon you close the toolbar icon), you won't get any notifications while the icon is dark.
