PMDG 738 Support

I have run the offline updater as per the sticky thread, where it is stated PMDG 737-800 support has been added. However, I am finding the same issues as earlier today. Aircraft configs not saving/Couatl using standard config file.

I wonder if anyone else has been able to update with success?

Please don't try to interpret log results and post pieces of code you *think* might be a problem, that part of the log you posted isn't, it's JUST telling you there's no *specific* separate .CFG file for a particular airframe, so it will use the standard but, without seeing the rest of the log, I cannot possibly tell if the base configuration has been loaded.

So, please, when doing a report, try to stick to the instructions posted in the Sticky thread "how to report an error".

Is there a PMDG 738 update?
Since the live updater isn't working for real, how are we to know when there is an update to the offline updater?

I also have the same problem, I do not create the folder and it is all off axis

The config also didn't load for me with the lastest offline installer.

How can I check if the 800 config got installed correctly?

When you open the airplane configuration, it should tell you "internal database.

In any case, I'm very sorry, but I think I've uploaded the offline installer without the 737-800 update. It's fixed now. The Live Update already had the right file.

So I tested this today - after updating via the FSDT Installer, loading up in the 800 passenger and BBJ variants, everything seems to line up properly.

However, the two cargo versions of the 800 are problematic. I tried to use the 3D Editor to get things aligned with the BCF, but although I was able to line up the main cargo loader and the two smaller conveyor loader positions, the passenger door positions continues to revert to the default (very wrong) positions, and there are two sets of forward stairs that both converge and overlap on the same forward L door location. I noted the same for the BDSF variant though I did not try to configure it manually.

We have included only the passenger variant, which was the most urgent to do quickly. The other will come shortly.
