VDGS Text Only Says "Chock On"
« on: August 23, 2022, 12:04:05 am »
With the PMDG 737 at Chicago (FSDT), any gate, using a simbrief profile, on GSX activation the VDGS briefly reads out the departure airport. However, after that it only reads out "chock on" with the countdown timer. Not sure if it's an LOD issue or something else.

Obviously a very minor issue but figured I would point it out.

We are aware of it, it's likely a sync issue between two internal timers, since it's supposed to alternate between the gate and the on chock messages.

I couldn't find a good list of VDGS model capabilities anywhere (T3 vs T1 etc) we have, so would appreciate a link.

Are there any in GSX Pro that show the destination from simbrief, as so far I've only seen the TTD and countdown, together with the departure code and gate?

Yes, the chapter on VGDS is the only thing we couldn't fit in the manual in time for release.

The one with the most complete indications are the T1-42, because they have the largest screen, other types have smaller screen, so information is either more compact or even missing.
