GSX Glass jetways are shorter than default jetways
« on: August 24, 2022, 07:11:00 am »
When fully extended, the GSX Glass jetways are shorter than the default MSFS jetways.  This creates problems at some airports (such as LEIB) where the fully extended GSX jetways will not reach the aircraft.

The issue can be resolved by disabling the GSX jetways at those airports; but one would think that if the goal was to replace all jetways globally, you'd at least make them the same length....

They are of the same length, but they have more realistic constraints than the Asobo ones, that allow the jetway to even break up in some cases, we just placed more realistic constrains that wouldn't allow the jetway to stretch exactly at max, but leaving at least a few cm of overlap between the sections.

I would rather first check if the parking position of the aircraft is not totally wrong in regard of the distance to the terminal building before blaming the jetways to short. I doubt that LEIB has a stand in reality where a super-long jetway is needed...
