The purpose of this addons is to make flight preparation more realistic. But I ask you: how realistic is to stay half an hour in the cockpit preparing EFB, MCDU and when boarding start you see pilots and crew arrive in the plane?

Just separate the boardings when possible. So when boarding an option to board the crew and after you prepared the aircraft another boarding of the pax (maybe even cargo separated for full control)

I'm new to GSX, I kind of like watching the Captain and Co-Pilot board the plane.  I wouldn't want to see them permanently excluded, but am fine with adding an exclude option in the menu.

So having said that, +1

Crew and passengers should be separated for boarding and deboarding

Separate control for crew boarding would be a great feature to have.

Alternatively, when one initialises GSX for an aircraft prior to departure, i.e. request external power & operate stairs/jetway, crew boarding should start immediately at the Departure airport. Nonetheless, end user control or option to exclude crew boarding would be the best option I guess.

Thanks

for those owning a (registred) copy of FSUIPC, there is a simple workarround to disable pilots and crew boarding using a button press :

Since a few days after deboarding I'm not asked anymore if the crew should be deboarded or not. So the crew stays in the plane..

It's likely because the GSX toolbar menu was closed. Please read the manual at Pages 66-67 how the menu works and when, when it closed, GSX doesn't have any chance to open it automatically, because there's no way in the SDK to do that from Simconnect ( if there was, the menu and GSX overall would be so much easier to use ), so with the toolbar icon Inactive, the menu asking who's supposed to be Deboarded has been skipped.
