Tug disconnect not working
« on: August 19, 2022, 07:06:51 pm »
I've been attempting this since early this morning and have yet to get a successful disconnect from the tug after pushback. The person just stands there and I have to abort the pushback to make it disconnect. Video attached:

I've had that happen too and I think I found out why: After you set the parking brake after pushback (as told so) the ground handler comes walking a bit closer for like 3 seconds. IF you hit "confirm good engine start" BEFORE he arrived and stopped at his new position, it will bug out. So the solution would be to only click "configm good engine start" AFTER he has stopped again close to the nose of your aircraft (you can still see him).
Does this help you? If yes, than it's a workaround for that bug.

We have been able to reproduce this problem and are working on a fix. It affects only the Pushback with a Towbar and only when the default Left/Right is used.

If you use a QuickEdit or a ple-planned route, the problem won't happen, so you can use this in the meantime.
