Did you also install gsx for p3d/fsx before, try to uninstall all of them and re-install msfs version only

This specific error has been discussed in several posts, and it's the sure indication you haven't got the latest files, becau the servers in your area haven't completed sync all new files, see here:

http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,26480.msg173512.html#msg173512

and follow the suggestions there.

Try this:

remove the following folders:

\Addon Manager\Couatl
\Addon Manager\Couatl64

Run the live Update again.

Today, removed both Couatl folders as a try and GSX worked with MFS but FSX, P3Dv4 and P3Dv5 still jetways disappearing.

same here i'm restoring my sys to wed i, like others on the other thread I cant get GSX1 and 2 worknig with MSFS GSX pro and we're just told it's either a stale update server or just that these products were designed to work together but it's only users helping other users with what-a-mole try this and that and see if it works.
Some setting or some lines of code somewehere is wrong that's causing this and as all these products are from FSDT, we cant debug it

Here I do have Couatl log from MFS and FSX. Later I will check P3D.

Patricio Valdes

EDIT: I tried with P3Dv4. Loaded KSLC and jetways disappeared after selecting GSX jetways service. Changed airport to SCEL and it appears the jetways are working. Reloading KSLC and now the jetways work. I did the same for P3Dv5 and I had exactly the same. Couatl err log file here for analysis.
So, it looks like Couatl doesn't seem to be working as expected at the first loading time.

Hello again,
I followed the description below

*************************************************************************
same problem here,

If you mean you already checked your log and noticed you have the same error as the previous posters:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File ".\GSX\__init__.py", line 411, in onAppStart
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'emulateMenu_MSFS'

Then yes, you DO have the same error so, as suggested for the others, try a complete uninstall and reinstall:

- Uninstall everything using the FSDT Installer

- Uninstall the FSDT Installer itself from the Control Panel

- Go into your Addon manager folder (the one you chose for the installation) and remove the whole folder

- Run the installer again.
*********************************************************************************

I uninstall/deactivate all my addons from FSDT, 3 MSFS airports, incuding gsx pro and 13 p3d airports including gsx and gsx level 2 using the
FSDT universal installer.

 - Uninstall the FSDT Installer itself from the Control Panel

 - and the Addon manager folder

After the I run the installer again, install one FSDT airpor for MSFS (LSZH Zurich for MSFS) and then gsx pro works fine.

Now I found the Addon manager folder is not on the hard disk which I would like to have!
How can I move the  Addon manager folder to another drive????

Thanks
Lothar

Today I solved the problem by myself. I select the drive when I run the universal installer.

Thanks
