Can't open GSX menu while progressively refueling

As in the title: While it's refueling clicking the menu button only gives me the text message of the amount of fuel in the top left corner, but no menu. After refueling is finished, the menu appears again.

It's refueling with GSX (only visually though, since it's the 737). Like in P3D the message of how much (visual) fuel it has pumped is being shown in the top left corner, but the menu does not open while it does that.

Same here.  Sometimes the menu will appear after a very long wait.
