When first using this I can open with the airport and GSX opens but if I make a mistake or miss a window (that closes and cannot be reopened ) than I cannot get GSX to work on reload of MSFS,,,I have to reboot the pc to get it to start again.

That's not normal, the Couatl engine is designed ( and it's tested ), to be started and restarted multiple times. Check it closes correctly in the Taskbar or in the Task Manager when you exit from it.
