The thing is that probably is not possible to keep both the MSFS and the P3D versions, because I installed first the MSFS one, checked the sim and everything was working, then I installed again the P3D version, checked again and the issue is back!

We obviously tested both MSFS version and P3D version, and they surely work together. But it would be best if you install the MSFS last.

I've just tried again, installed the P3D version first and then the MSFS one, not working...

We found a problem with some 3rd party airports that have parking with a Jetway bridge, but without the Jetway, a very uncommon situation, which we never encountered before, but it made the Couatl engine crash entering the airport.

The fix is online now.

same problem here,

If you mean you already checked your log and noticed you have the same error as the previous posters:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File ".\GSX\__init__.py", line 411, in onAppStart
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'emulateMenu_MSFS'

Then yes, you DO have the same error so, as suggested for the others, try a complete uninstall and reinstall:

- Uninstall everything using the FSDT Installer

- Uninstall the FSDT Installer itself from the Control Panel

- Go into your Addon manager folder (the one you chose for the installation) and remove the whole folder

- Run the installer again.

Worked for me thanks. Sad to still see the baggage carts driving though the wing cones.
Also, sometimes you have to cycle the GSX toolbar button twice to re trigger the menu as the button didn't deselct when the menu closed.

Thanks,
Kian

Which folder did you delete? The instruction is not clear.

Hello again Umberto,
getting closer... The menu opens now (default/addon airport), but for some reason it stalls again (no vehicles come etc.).

What I'm not sure with, are these entries in the log:

Which folder did you delete? The instruction is not clear.

The instruction said to remove the whole folder YOU chose for the Addon Manager. If you haven't chosen anything, the default is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager

this is the folder to be removed, after you uninstalled the various FSDT products you might have inside.

Good Day Virtual,
I believe I've finally have all the updated files, and I no longer get the script engine not running in MSFS (after a manual start), but I only see vehicles moving about my add-ons scenery.  The GSX icon does not respond- no menu.  I have attached my log file.

Thank you

No, I'm afraid you haven't yet. This error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File ".\GSX\__init__.py", line 411, in onAppStart
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'emulateMenu_MSFS'

Has been discussed in several posts, and it's the sure indication you haven't got the latest files, because the servers in your area haven't completed sync all new files, see here:

http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,26480.msg173512.html#msg173512

and follow the suggestions there.

Thank you for the clarification.

Your instruction was not clear though as you said "Go into your Addon manager folder (the one you chose for the installation)", which means a folder inside the Addon Manager.

It would have been better saying "Go to your Addon manager folder (the one you chose for the installation) and delete it"?

Hello,
I had the same problem and solved it like this:

1. Deactivating the licenses of my GSX products
2. Uninstall GSX products in FSDT Universal Installer
http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=26480.0;attach=34098;image
3. Uninstall FSDT Addon Manager
http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=26480.0;attach=34100;image

4. Delete the addon directory
     c:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\
(Important: You need Administrator rights to delete this folder!)
5. Reinstall FSDT Universal Installer
6. Install and activate GSX MSFS
7. Download the bglmanx_fsdt.dat and overwrite the old one:
http://update.virtualisoftware.com/setup/fsdtroot/couatl64/bglmanx_fsdt.dat

in c:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\couatl64\
8. After Start MSFS I got no reaction from GSX - after starting the
c:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\couatl64\Couatl64_MSFS.exe
with my normal user rights GSX works for me now.

I hope this instructions will be helpfull for you!

I have this error in my logs too:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File ".\GSX\__init__.py", line 411, in onAppStart
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'emulateMenu_MSFS'

I've followed all the steps to uninstall, delete the folder C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming\Virtuali, restart the PC, re-install but still have the issue.

Is it just a case of waiting until the files in your servers update then run an update?

Shame that the attempt to avoid websites crashes still came back to bite - you're damned if you do, damned if you don't :)

Seems like it, because that's surely not what we have online here.

I have the same issue - just bought it this morning and have struggled since to get it up running - without any luck. I have unlinked and uninstalled 2 times - still no luck. I changed the mentioned bglmanx_fsdt.dat - still no luck.
I start manually the Couatl64_MSFS.exe file before starting MSFS2020

Doing anything wrong???

Ok :) Thank you for all your help, really appreciate it. Any idea how long it will take those files to refresh on the servers? If not I'll just try again later :)
