I really don't want to disagree here, but where else would 3 people with a clean system have gotten the outdated version? I downloaded it 3 times, just to be sure, from here: http://www.fsdreamteam.com/update/gsx_p3d4_setup.exe
Yes, I checked and in fact, the installer DOES contain the previous version, but it shouldn't matter!
As you surely must have noticed, at the end of the installation, the Live Update will start so, what is contained in the installer won't matter, as long the antivirus/firewall are not blocking the Updater that runs at the end.
And yes, of course I checked and:
- When the installer runs, it installs 4475, but then Live Update starts.
- And of course, it downloads and installs 4642, which is what is supposed to happen if antivirus/firewalls are not interfering.
So, again, the problem is not the installer, it never was, the problem is the Live Update the runs at the end of the installation is prevented from doing its work, that is updating everything, regardless what's in the installer.
