P3D v5.2 - Stairs action not completing

Hi Umberto,

P3D v5.2 HF2 with the PMDG737u. When parked on the apron necessitating the use of stairs they approach the aircraft and connect to the doors just fine. But after pax have been boarded and doors closed I choose the Stairs option again to move them away from the aircraft.

It’s only a little later when I choose option 5 to initiate pushback I realise the Stairs action is not finished but there’s no sign of them near the aircraft. It looks like the flag is not being reset.

This has happened several times at different airports. Could you check things please?

We'll check it, of course. In the meantime, do a restart Couatl before landing and see if it fixes it.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. This is happening at departure. The stairs move away but the menu shows the action hasn’t completed.

Sorry, I was confused by the "looks like the flag is not being reset", which seems to indicate it only happened on the last leg of the flight. So, it's always happening instead and, "with the PMDG737u" means it ONLY happens with that airplane, or it's just the only one you tried ?

I don’t have many aircraft and the PMDG737u is the only one that can use the stairs. My options are limited. The jetway works fine. I’ll try another test on Sunday and report back.

I use option 8 to reset things but a solution would be better.

Hi Umberto,

I ran Live Update this morning and then tested the Stairs. l didn't go through the whole startup process. I just selected Operate Stairs and once they connected selected the option again. They moved away from the aircraft and several seconds later the Operate Stairs option became available again.

Strange, we haven't done anything to fix it. In fact, I didn't had time to confirm it yet.

Computers eh?  I’ll keep an eye on it and report back if it happens again. But if you have time to check the code that would be appreciated.
