GSX Pushback
« on: March 26, 2021, 12:27:58 am »
I fly the FSL A320 family and I am becoming weary using the pushback.

Too many times the pushback has failed to release my 'Nose Wheel Steering'.  It's totally unreliable!

I am using GSXv2.

WHY?

I am using P3Dv4.5.

GSX is not releasing or locking anything, especially on the FS Labs airplane, which has a custom nose wheel system.

The only thing GSX does, is to set a variable telling the airplane when it wants the bypass pin to be released, so it can control it by itself during the actual pushback, and set it again when pushback ends, to tell the airplane to claim back control of the nose wheel steering so, it's up to the airplane to react to this variable and reinstate control of the NWS to itself.

Thankyou for your reply.

The problem being that notification is NOT being received. 50% of the time, audio is not either.

I would not report this, if it never happened.

Flying on-line incurs extreme embarrassment.
Cancelling the program to resume does not release the nose wheel steering............................Help?
