« on: November 16, 2020, 08:32:38 pm »
Hello

The title says it all. I tried deleteting couatl_updateer2.exe and then launched again couatl_updater.exe. couatl_updater2.exe is re-downloaded from the server and gain identified as a virus by Windows Defender.

Please investigate

This issue has been discussed and answered several times already. It's a false positive, you only need to add the Addon Manager folder to the antivirus Exclusions list.

I',ve been using your products for more than 3 years now and that never happened until today.

An antivirus update can change this at any time, and of course an antivirus update can fix this at any time ( when they realize it's a false positive ). That's we always suggested to add the Addon Manager folder to the antivirus Exclusion list, that's probably the most repeated suggestion of this forum, since years.
