Aircraft position not correct
« on: November 04, 2020, 09:07:44 am »
Hi simmers,
In P3DV5, ORBX scenery, and EDDL from Justsim, my FSLabs Airbus does not stand on the right spot on the gate.
How to correct that?
Cheers,
Rick

It's not clear what position are you referring to, and it's not clear what kind of bad positioning you are referring to.

- Are you referring to the position the GSX marshaller guides you to ( or where the GSX vehicles are positioned ), or the position you find yourself at, after using the "Go To Airport" menu to go to a gate ?

- Is the position looks basically correct, just the airplane too forward or too backward, or the position looks entirely off.

The position where the plane stands after go to airport on the specified gate is left of the supposed position.

Ok, in that case, if the problem happens also using the standard "Go To airport" menu, it doesn't have anything to do with GSX, it's just a conflicting AFCAD file, which you might be able to solve either by ensuring that airport stays on a higher layer than any other area that might conflict with it, or just removing the conflicting file.

The most common cause for conflicts are AFCAD files supplied with AI Traffic products, that should usually be removed if you have an add-on airport.
