Upper jetway door and a Airbus 380
« on: August 30, 2020, 10:11:08 am »
Hi, good morning to you.
I am having a little difficulty configuring the upper door jetway on an Airbus 380
I have P3D v4.5, GSX and GSX2
At Gatwick (UK200 scenery), Stand 110 (triple jetways) and a 380 (Singapore). All 3 jetways connect, the lower two correctly, but the jetway to the upper door cannot get high enough to reach the door.
I have set the "height" to 7.39, but it needs to be 8.00 to reach the door.
Any number greater than 7.39 results in GSX not recognising the door ar all.
Is this a GSX limit, or a jetway limit ??
Can you alter the height limit to 8.00, so that the jetway can reach the upper door.
Best regards, Martin.

Those jetways are modeled by UK2000 and have nothing to do with GSX jetways. You can put and exclusion at that gate and then add GSX jetways that will work to that gate. There are plenty of tutorials online on how that is done.

Are you using GSX to operate the jetways. If so, try using SODE to operate the jetways and see what happens. Tab + S if I remember correctly. That said, those jetways aren't GSX jetways, so not sure what can be done from their end to fix it.

If a jetway is not added by GSX ( like in this case ), there's just nothing GSX can do to improve or change its behavior in relationship to the airplane.
