Hi all,

I took the time to add the Terminal B as well as the satellite on terminal E.

It is not perfect due to scenery objects (vehicles, lines) that I cannot remove. It is however better than nothing at all until FSDT come up with an update.

To install

1. First make sure you have a GSX file for the gates available here: https://www.inibuilds.com/gsx-usa?rq=dallas

2. Then make a backup of AP_KDFW_OBJ and overwrite AP_KDFW in the scenery folder.

3. Then reinsert AP_KDFW_OBJ into the folder (it gets deleted by some reason when changing the AFD).

4. Finally insert kdfw-2vhdgh.ini into your GSX file replacing the original from inibuilds.

Enjoy!

Hey, this is great!!! Thanks for making it. However, I get a "failed to decompile the BGL" in ADE and it's crashing my GSX... any ideas why?

Anyone know if an updated/new DFW is in the future of P3D? It’s been almost a decade if I recall correctly.

I'm making one with my scenery company I own. Currently I've gotten D and B built mostly, and been working on getting the terrain modeled correctly for the roads and stuff too instead of just having to use a CVX. But FSDT has made it clear there is no plan to update DFW at the moment. In regards to this P3D update this guy made, I'm in FSX so I've been trying to decompile the BGL so I can get the gates and buildings to work in my scenery lol.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. There should not be the need to decompile anything. Just copy and paste as I described.
You need GSX though for it to work or else you will not see the jetways.

I have noticed that DFW has "shifted" a bit since the airport was made. Is there a way that I can center the airport on the direction it sits now? The north/south runways sit at 357.1 degrees and 177.1 degrees.

It’s not the airport that’s shifted, but earths magnetic field. Its wandering all the time. That’s why some of the runways change designation on occasion.
