GSX and GSX Level 2 for P3D V3
« on: July 08, 2020, 03:28:10 pm »
I made the purchase of GSX and GSX Level 2 but I'm having difficulty installing. I do the correct procedure, but when it comes to the screen to select my simulator, which is the P3D V3, GSX does NOT detect the installed simulator. Help me please.

Which version of the sim you have ? In P3D V3, only 3.4 is supported.

Right
I have version 3.4

Below are photo of the installation until the moment when you should choose which simulator to install, but it is impossible.

Below are photo of the installation until the moment when you should choose which simulator to install, but it is impossible.

Then the only possible explanations are:

- Your P3D registry keys are wrong, or pointing to the wrong folder. This can happen if you "moved" your install folder, or if you use the very dangerous "Migration Tools"

- Your Prepar3d is not really 3.4

If your P3D is not really 3.4, update it. If your registry keys have been wrong, you must fix them. If you don't know how to do it, it's best to reinstall the sim.

Try to install SODE separately:

https://sode.12bpilot.ch/

When you start the Platform Manager, it might tell you if your registry keys are wrong, and could be able to fix them.

ok, I will do the installation of SODE V1.7.1

And I will try to install GSX again, but I believe that SODE is already installed.
