KDFW CTD and Missing Airport

Hello all,

I have recently purchased the KDFW scenery and already 3 times all over I have failed to make a complete flight into KDFW. The sim would just crash to desktop as soon as I get anywhere near the airport after a long flight (from Boston, mind you - so yeah you can imagine my reaction each time). Anyway, I decided to circumvent this problem by loading on my last position prior to the CTD. I manage to land the aircraft on a barely recognisable airport with no terminal buildings or runway textures whatsoever. Anyone came across this issue before?

Nobody ever reported this in about 10 years KDFW is out.

A common problem that often mislead users that a specific airports has a problem, because the sim crashes when approaching there, it's a problem with missing/corrupted files for an AI and, if because of its schedule, the problematic AI appears mostly on that airport only, it's easily to be confused and blame the airport, because it seems to crash only there.

The first thing to try, is to test with 0% AI Traffic, and see if the crash goes away. If it does, you can be sure it's not the airport.
