Setting up Ai carriers for P3D V5
« on: April 21, 2020, 09:29:53 pm »
I upgraded to P3D V5 yesterday and trying to get AI carriers to work in P3D V5. I have the exe.xml pointing to the location of
the  exe.xml The only way I could get it to load in P3D was to click on the aicarriers.exe after P3d loads. I'm pretty sure the path
in the below exe.xml is pointing to where the aicarriers.exe is located. I made a AI carriers folder under P3D V5. (Drive E:)

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
  <Descr>Launch</Descr>
  <Filename>exe.xml</Filename>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled>
  <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>AICarriers</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
    <Path>E:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D V5\AICarriers\AICarriers.exe</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>

I also use AI carriers in P3D V3.4 on another drive. I just copied AI folder/contents to my P3D V5 AI carrier folder and just change the path for P3D V5.
