Rear stair issue GSX2 and A320
« on: February 05, 2020, 07:26:16 am »
Good afternoon,

Jetstar livery Aerosoft A320 parked at YMML. No jetway so utilised stairs. Both worked good, loaded passengers. Closed doors then requested stair to move away. Front one moved and completed however the rear one didn't move and therefore unable to push back as it was waiting for that action to complete. Any ideas what is causing this as its not the first time? GSX2 up to date.P3D.

Thank you.

Unfortunately not and its aerosoft not fslabs. The command is to remove the stairs and then pushback can commence. The front stairs understands the command but the back stairs dont.  The plane is ready for.pushback via the checklist but gsx is preventing it due to the rear stairs not.moving back. If i disable gsx then reset the plane is more than happy to carry out its checklist.and p/b as planned

Doesn't make any difference, the Aerosoft also has some constrains you must clear before being able to pushback. As explained in that other thread, normally GSX will TELL you what is expecting from you, but if the airplane has disabled the message bar, because it's supposed to control GSX on its own, you don't know what you are supposed to do, and assume GSX is "stuck", but it's not.

Try with a default airplane, to be sure GSX is working.
