GSXv2 with AS LSGG
« on: January 21, 2020, 12:25:56 pm »
GSXv2 will not use the hub jetways e.g stands 31-34
Any way to fix this, they are SODE.
If I change them to GSXv2 jetways will that work?

GSX works with 3rd party SODE jetways without any need to replace them.

However, it's important they are specified correctly in their SODE XML name, if the names used for the parking spots in the SODE XML file don't match the names in the scenery AFCAD, they will work with SODE, but not with GSX.

Don't post XML code in the message, both because it's too long to read, and also because it can be altered by the forum software. ZIP it and attach to a file. And, without the related AFCAD, I can't say if the XML is correct or not.

Also, please clarify what do you mean with "GSX will not use jetways". Do you see those gates listed in GSX with a "/JS" ? If yes, it means GSX has recognized them correctly.

Well, I think I have found the problem.
When I opened up GSX gate 31 was like you thought not a /JS, it should be, I changed it to one of GSX jetways and then showed as a /JS but does not work. It turned out to be just this gate that does not work.
So if this is an AFCAD fault, would you be kind enough to tell me where to find it and what to change, please.

Thank you for all your help.

The likely cause is the parking name in the AFCAD not matching the parking name in the SODE XML file for the same scenery.

As I've said in my first reply, while this mismatch won't be a problem if you try to use "just" SODE, it will prevent working with SODE+GSX, because in order for SODE to send the jetway list to GSX, they MUST use the only thing in common they can, which is the parking name as defined in the AFCAD, since GSX cannot possibly know about a parking name that was only defined in the SODE XML file, especially considering some developers use encrypted SODE files ( SDX ), which would prevent a possible alternative solution of GSX reading the scenery SODE XML file directly.

Hello!
Did you have already a problem with LSGG?
Please check the Sode-xml-file with the stands.
I found there the misstake for missing stand 31.
best regards
