I updated this morning and restarted my computer but couatl keeps crashing again.  This happened a few weeks back and it was fixed.

Thanks
Darcy

When will I learn to wait on the updates and check here for issues.  No flying today, with GSX, cyvr or klax anyways.

Yeah hopefully something is fixed soon. None of the previous fixes work, for me anyways.

I wish.  Totally unusable GSX, cyvr and klax.  I wish they would put the old update back.  They did this last time and it got things working.  Please Fix!!  Yes I have restarted several times and my folder is restricted from virus.

This is getting annoying, lately we are having destructive updates that end up killing immersion! and most importantly not letting us use the add-on

It doesn't seem to matter what airport I try and load into, same thing here.

Yes it doesn’t matter which airport or airplane. Seems like there is something wrong in the Followme.pye file that got pushed out in the last update.

Unfortunately I think it’s bad timing because it seems like the Devs are taking some well deserved time off.

I wonder if it would be ok for someone to share an older version of the followme.pye and test if that temporarily fixes the issue until the devs are back.

Thanks

I tried a slightly older (Sept 2019) followme.pye and the problem persisted. But then I swapped the  _init_.pye
(again from Sept_2019) and my GSX works again!

I am also having this problem.  It stared for no apparent reason and I have done everything suggested on this site to fix the problem, several times over.  I am becoming very frustrated with it all.  Below is a copy of the error report I receive after the crash.  As soon as the cache is built the couatl crashes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it just my feeling, or is it indeed that lately there are more breaking updates issued than it used to be?

Maybe it would be time to think about a different model of providing updates. Something like a "bleeding edge" channel for those who want/need the latest stuff and accept breaking changes, and a "stable" channel with better tested and mature updates for those who primarily want a stable system.

For many of us, GSX is an integral part of simming, and when it does not work, that is a problem. Not all of us are willing to beta-test.
