Please indicate the precise, exact, sequence of operations you did in GSX.

To be honest I 'm a human and not a computer  ;).

Here is what I did last:

-restarted the PC

-started FSX (w/o any other programs like Active Sky or Moving Map etc.)

this puts my a/c to gate 66 @CYVR where I saved the last flight coming from Honolulu

-triggered the YouControl activity menu with <ctrl>+<F12>

-selected #1 - GSX - Activate ground services

-selected #1 Request deboarding

(forgot if I was asked which operator to use, selected default if so)

-selected FWD jetway to 1L and confirmed to this

-opened Exit 1 when hearing the bump to the door

-opened both cargo doors

-after some time listen to people who are disembarking

wait and wait ...

after 1/2 hour of waiting I opened the 'Activate ground services' menu again
#1 shows 'Deboarding passengers now'

-reset the position via GSX Service Menu #8

(never did anything with the system in this time, no view change or anything else)

BTW I did this also with 'request boarding'. With the same endless ending.

How's your passenger density setting ? This will affect boarding/deboarding speed.

Did you had top green line showing the progressive number of passenger deboarding/boarding going up ?

I'm now in flight from Vancouver to Montreal. When arrived I'll check deboarding on that non FSDT Airport (FlyTampa) first.

I just arrived in Montreal. Requested deboarding and disembarking ends aft 20-30 seconds.

Before closing my flight in Montreal a LiveUpdate was offered. I did that and after this

-restarted the PC
-load FSX with the parking @CYVR Gate 66
-requested deboarding
-and wait ...

Passengers density is set to Normal (as default)
No green line at top!

This is what I found so far in the Couatl.log while the still endless deboarding

Please, Attached your log ( ZIP it first ), instead of posting it, because it might have been useful to check it entirely.

What *other* addons have you installed ? Looking at your log, it seems GSX is being affected by an old bug which we assumed to be fixed, that errors made by other addons were mistakenly sent to the wrong client, which is now swamped in error reports.

Try to disable all the other add-on, except the FSDT Addon Manager. If you add-on are proper P3D4 add-ons, they should be very easy to temporarily disable, from the OPTIONS-Add-on menu.

Couatl.log attached.

I'm using FSX  Acceleration (not P3Dv4).

All Addons other than Addon Manager and SODE deactivated.

LevelD Boeing 767-300 LVLD.DLL active.

Still endless deboarding.

I see you used a custom configuration for the Level-D 767, could you please post that one as well ?

here it is.

FYI:
I added a second passenger exit to test the dual gate operation. That is working fine.

I also tested that with a modified Wilco/Feelthere A330-300 config. Working also.

And the disembarking of the LevelD B763 in Montreal (FlyTampa) was ending!

Removed the custom configurations for airplane LevelD and CYVR. Still endless deboarding.

Just tried @PHNL Gate 10 and deboarding ended!

Moved the a/c over to CYVR Gate 66 and started deboarding. Result? Endless.

Are you sure the deboarding is "endless" ? It seems your issue happens only if the gate has a SODE jetway, with passengers and, after the passengers, first the crew and then the pilots will board, which will take some minutes after all passengers are out.

the longest waiting time was about a hour until I reset.

What should I test and report more?

-at Honolulu's FSDT scenery the deboarding ends aft about 30-40 seconds

-at Montreal's Flytampa scenery the deboarding ends aft about 30-40 seconds

I never have had a deboarding crew as long as i have installed the latest installer and never with old installers that have been installed here before.

I have not licensed GSX Level 2 Expansion so far but that should not be any problem on a FSDT airport!?

And BTW why is Couatl always telling me on first start that CYVR is in TRIAL Mode when I have a correct license?

OK, it is not "endless". Went to the supermarket and kept the system going. After return, deboarding has ended.
I don't have the exact time frame, but how can I change this setting? In earlier versions there was a more detailed way to change the time intervals. Now it is a slider with five notches sparse, normal etc. I kept it all the time on normal which it was as default and I do not want to sit in the cockpit for more than one hour until the passengers have boarded/deboarded. 10-15 Minutes are far enough. And why is it only in Vancouver?
BTW I moved the slider to 'Sparse' started boarding and the clock. There are now 35 Minutes gone and boarding is still active.

Ok, I think I got it now. RtFM did a good portion to it. :o

That's exactly the opposite of what you are supposed to do. The passenger NUMBER is always the same so, if you set "Sparse", the same number of passengers will take longer to board. If you want to shorten the boarding time, you must increase the Density, not decrease it.

And, of course, if you are using an big airplane, it helps having two jetways, since it will cut in half the time required to board.

Yes, you are right and I was so fixed on timing that I didn't realized what the technique of 'moving' 3D-objects is within GSX Level2 Expansion.

Thank you for bringing me to the 'light' and you can mark this topic as **Solved** if you wish.
