When will we get crew separated from pax?
« on: October 14, 2019, 09:42:24 am »
Hello Umberto,

first, many thanks for the additions and updates over the time - much appreciated!!!

One "long term wish" of me is to have the crew separated from the pax boarding.
Simply, as it is currently (will probably change with MSFS2020  ;) ) we already sit in the cockpit.

And it is always a kind of Buddhism journey out of myself to see me walking into the cockpit where I already sit  ;)
Same is valid for deboarding of course, as it could also be, that it is a turnaround flight and I will stay in cockpit.

A simple tick in the options somewhere "board/deboard passengers only without crew" will be enough for me!

many, many thanks!

It's already possible, but for the time being is under control of the airplane developers: they can set a variable to tell if the crew or pilots should board/deboard or not, and how many of them there are.

We decided to make it this way, in order not have users being confused (again), when the passenger number reported by GSX doesn't match the passenger number in the airplane, which is what will always happen if the airplane doesn't set the exact number by itself.
