Again- general problem with the addon-manager since liveupdate

Hi together,
this topic is well known in the community: "Couatl script engine hasn't start....." since the last live update.
I tested nearly all suggestions from the forums and google without result.
The problem:
I can't install a product and reenter the serial without this message.

No AV sw ist installed; W10 defender ist deactivated; firewalls also. UAC is deactivated. Couatl.exe is running. P3D V4.5 is running in windows and full screen mode. All VC++ versions (incl. 2005) are installed, except 2005 SP1 (this version is no nore available). All related folders have full access permission.
Every position containing FSDT items was deinstalled incl. Virtuali..., all registry items also.
Then with this "blank" system I started a new installation with GSX incl. liveupdate-----with the same bad result.

I spent days with this trials. Have anybody an idea- without to setup a new system.

no one wants to admit there is an issue with the last update pushback.py is constantly crashing my couatl..please install and download latest stand-alone manager but it's nowhere to be found. So I have to use the competition for pushback until. The quick edit works

This issue has been clearly explained WHY it happens, WHAT to do to prevent it, and HOW will be fixed in the next update, and this was posted twice in the last days:

Something is not right here, you got the message that Couatl is not runnig, yet it is running ? Is in the Task Manager ? Could be running from a previous session ? Or, it's running, but it then quits ?

I see coautl.exe is permanent running in the task manager. I supposed a relation between couatl.exe and the script engine's start who fails.
The problem is as shown above that I can't do anything in the addon-manager without this error message.. ?
I have no more ideas how to continue.

Couatl.exe IS the scripting engine, that's why it seems strange, if not impossible, you would see that message about the engine not running, if it IS running. The only possible reason I can think of it was running from a previous session, and for some reason didn't quit.

Does it work if you terminate manually from the task manager and restart the sim afterwards ?

Coautl.exe runs; -> terminate in the task manager --> restart sim:  No effekt.

Additional:
Coautl isn't start with the sim. I started it manually during several phases in the sim. Also do like your suggestions. Trying reinstall the serial in the Addon-man... The same effect:  Couatl...didn't start. The add-on manager folder and it's subs have all permission of access!..All AV-SW is definitely inactive.
What is the consequence? Re-install P3D, re-install Win 10, too? Format c:\ ??

Sorry, but I find your reports confusing. You first said Couatl.exe is running in the Task Manager, then you said it doesn't start with the sim. Please clarify, it is running or not ?

Let's try again:
* After liveupdate all my FSDT products are in trial mode
* Attemt to reinsnstall the serial I got the error message "Coautl  scripting.... not started"
* I tried nearly all  hints from Forum and Web. No effect.
* No Av is installed , defender is not active, all permissions of path' or folders are set.

Now I explain what happens during start the sim:
* Task manager is running for monitoring; COUATL is off
* P3D V4.5 ist started, showing Scenario screen; COAUTL is off
* Starting a scenario; sim is loaded and ready; COUATL is off
* Starting addon manager; Couatl is off
* Selecting reinstall serial: Couatl is off; Error message appears

I can start COUATL manually and tried this in all steps shown above- no effect!

Hope this report is clear now and you have an idea...

So, everything you said before about Couatl.exe running, we'll scratch that, because it seems it never started, instead. Then I'm sorry, but the only possible reason for this is either the antivirus or some missing libraries on your system.

If you absolutely sure your antivirus is properly configured, and your firewall is not blocking the download, the thread named "Addon Manager not showing up in P3Dv4 **SOLVED**" thread lists all the known solutions for missing menu entries from the "Addons" menu:

Thank's for quick reply and your support.
Let's do:

OS = win 10 in actual update level. P3D V4.5

1.) -ALL VC++ libs are deinstalled.
    -All FSDT files and folders, incl Virtuali, addon manager and Reg. entries are deinstalled and cleaned
   System restart
2.) NO AV is installed; defender is completely deactivated; checked with task manager.
    - VC++ runtimes were installed (86+64) as suggested in your link above.
   VC++ 2005  (SP1--> is not longer available for this installation)
   SYstem restarted
3.) No AV is installed; Taskmanager started; defender is completely inactive!! All firewalls are deactivated. Checked.
    - gsx_p3d4_setup2 ist started and completed
    - logFile is placed.
   System restarted. SIM started.
      ALL FSDT items are active and available!!!!!!!

      SOLVED!! It's true but I don't understand why.....
