Parking Space "Too Remote" Sumburgh EGPB

Anyone got anything to work at Orbx Sumburgh ?

Whenever I try to do anything just get the Too Remote" message.

Guessing it is an unusual airpirt so ling shot, but has anyone got anything working  here ?

Go to FTX central and go into the airport configuration tab, make sure the sloped runways and aprons is turned off.

"Too remote" ? Are you sure it's not saying "isolated" ? If yes, that's a problem of the scenery AFCAD, which has a parking not connected to anything.

It's precisely that the problem you're facing.

I've also tried to request GSX at EGPB (ORBX) and found that problem. The sloped afcad has no nodes, no taxiways, nothing. I've tried to add them with poor results. The vehicles used to drop or not show up. The flat afcad works just fine.

Maybe with this new version of GSX things have changed, but in all fairness, the issue lies with the afcad, and not with GSX. Maybe we can't have both worlds, i.e., sloped airports and working ground vehicles...

No worries. I'd prefer to keep Sumburgh as it is. Gorgous. Just have to refuel myself !

I've managed to get ORBX EGPB working with GSX and still retaining the slopped runways.

I've just modified "gate 2" to serve an A320 type aircraft. I've not worked with all parking positions since it's beyond my needs.
